My favorite is my Sig Mosquito. I did have an issue with the slide breaking and had to buy a $100 GSG Firefly slide to repair it.
Not cost effective but I liked the gun and wanted it operational. Sig was no help fixing it.
My most reliable 22LR handguns are my M&P22 and 22c,
I took it off. I just use the factory sights now. If I can find a 715T flat top body I may swap it.
I have a cheap red dot I'm going to try.

I actually only have 2 .22LR rifles.
A Savage FXP that I bought for my wife. She decided she didn't like long guns so I made it mine. I've added leftover parts to customize it for me.
I also have a Mossy 715T that has been reliable and fun with the 25 rnd. magazine.

The simple answer would be Yes, for family. To more involved answer would be whether to defend in place or to extract.
Defend businesses and others' property? Probably not likely unless legally deputized and backed by LE.
