535 dumps the waiting round with high power shells.

My 535 doesn't like the 3.5" shoulder killing rounds that work so well for geese.

When I shoot the first round, the waiting round will either get ejected and fall on the ground or will jam the action.

I figured that it was just too much recoil for the stop in the magazine to handle.

Is there a solution to this problem other than using lower powered rounds?

Your stop bar and or release lever needs to be adjusted. It requires heating and bending and oil quenching on the stop bar. Maybe mossberg or a gunsmith could do the work. Or, you could buy a new part and put it in yourself. Check youtube for a self help video.
