Finished new knife for my nephew

My nephew is finally old enough to hunt so I made him his own knife.

I work the antler, brass and leather but I do not make the blades.

Hope he likes it LOL

He was pretty excited to get it. I made one for my dad, brother and older nephew a while back. The kids now kind of see it as a rite of passage. The next oldest niece and nephew are 8 and 7 so It'll be a while before they are old enough to get one.

I've made couple others for charity related events.

Oddly I've yet to make one for myself.

Some day I'd like to build a small cinder block forge and actually make the blades as well. Until then the Helle blades seem to be pretty damn good and they come in a variety of styles.

Hey Mike. I have started making knives as a hobby. So far they have all been hunter knives out of carbon steel.
I saw your pics of your leather work and am wondering if maybe we can work together. I am no leather smith, heck I'm not much of a blacksmith. But I'm learning.
I'm thinking if I make the knives and send them to you, could you possibly make the sheaths for them?
