Mossberg Palomino

SFCEd

Copper BB
My wife's Grandfather used to own this one. I was want opinions if worth restoring or if I should just leave it alone? It shoots great, but has a lot of wear and tear. It was very rusty so there's some pitting left after cleaning, not to mention all the scratches. The wood is in good shape.

,,,,,don't know it's value,,,,,but it's a real beauty!!! Thanks for sharing.

I'd leave it as is and use it.

If the gun only has sentimental value, I would refinish it.
Make it real nice again and hopefully your grandkids will be able to enjoy it.
I just finished a SxS project.
A no value gun, but I like it and hopefully when my 1yo is old enough so will she.
Nothing like passing on an old, good looking, working gun.

That carbine is a fun shooter. I have the 402 also and the rifle (400). Short stroke lever action. I would tend to leave it as is but I have never had a Mossberg in that bad of shape. Thanks for sharing.
