Long barrel vs short barrel.........same choke?

Late to the discussion, but length of barrel was only critical with old slower burning powders, black powders etc.
Modern propellants don't need 32inches to burn (look at any old H&R or Iver Johnson single barrel from the 1920's, 32_inches was the minimum length)
