CA: Needles Declares 2A Sanctuary City

Needles, CA is a small town of about 5,000 people on the border of Arizona and Nevada. Their city council voted unanimously to declare their city a “sanctuary” for legal gun owners because they say the state has imposed too many restrictions on law abiding citizens’ 2nd amendment rights. They’re right.

Another major issue is the new ammunition law which bans residents in California from going out of state to buy ammunition. Residents of Needles would have to travel over 100 miles to purchase ammo…or they could step across the state line into Arizona and get it sooner.
 
That is the basic principle of a free market.

Where there is demand for a product, there will be people who will step in to fill that product and make some money.

Not unlike the drug trade as caddmann has said. And not unlike bootleggers during prohibition (God bless them).

When a state makes a law that tells what it's citizens can or can't do in another state, tells me that the politicians have a basic and fundamental problem on their hands.

California has a bad habit of trying to do that.

It has prohibited travel to Kentucky and some other state, just because they don't like the politics here.

You wanna know what the people of KY thinks about that?

The state of california has raked in so much in taxes this year they are billions over expected income. They dems are celebrating their unexpected solvency.

Thank Trump, of course. Everyone is working and buying and they are paying sales tax, property tax, excise tax, car tax, etc. . . . who knows how many fees and taxes, but $ billions and billions.

10 million illegals here are making and spending money. The economy is booming so hot people are abusing each other to get housing.
 
They keep saying that everyone is leaving, but there's still a huge housing shortage.
Worst in the nation except maybe DC.

I think that for everyone who leaves, two sneak in.
 
I could point out the obvious and say who's fault it is for giving them "sanctuary" and inviting them there in the first place, but I think that goes without saying.

Politics is pretty damn crooked too. There's no such thing as a surplus with politicians. They are going to fill their pockets and their friends pockets with the rest going to special interests.
