Model 385

Copper BB
I have been looking for a new squirrel gun. Rifles are out as are pump, autos and hammerless break action shotguns. I thought I might try a bolt action with an adjustable choke. I was at my local LGS and picked up a Mossberg 385 like new for cheap. Does any body have any comments on a 385 KB 20 gauge?

It is not a bad gun for the price. One bit of a headache- it is difficult
to rig the mag if you buy extras sometimes. If it feeds well-don't mess with it.
It can be a "stock breaker" if you shoot 3" magnum loads. Stick with the 2 3/4.
Oh- if you use slugs- make sure the choke is full open- or you will shoot the choke off!
Fun gun to shoot! I have had several 185's and 385's. I still own my original 185 my father gave me
50yrs ago.
