Re: The usual problems...
My stock SPX spring is 22.5 inches in length. It has no problems loading 7 and even seams really weak with just 1 round in the tube, but it always feeds perfectly.

Re: Aimpro Tri-Rail
M24shooter,
Do you know where you got that 2 round shell caddy on your forend rail? I don't have the aimpro rail, but would like to mod this caddy and mount to my standard forend.
NEVERMIND: Found it. Made by Sidearmor and looks like converting from rail mount...

Mine was a complete replacement of the tube and it appears to be a re-seating of the piston spring.

Shipped: June 26th
Arrived at Maverick: July 2nd
Back to me on July 12th.
Not counting shipping time / weekends...

Send it back to OFM, my experience with their service turnaround has been very good. With shipping included both ways, it was gone for...

a. tape down the original safety, has a ball / spring underneath and you don't want it flying away once you release the screw
b. Once you tape down the safety...
Re: 930 spx chamber/gas port/spring question
I've got the original SPX (black spring) and just added a 24' barrel with the blue spring. No change in cycling that I've seen, I've been lucky, my 930 runs without a hiccup and I run only Rem light target 1145 or low recoil 1100 for birdshot and...
New to this forum, but long term-ish owner of my SPX since '09. I'd like to ask for some choke advice:
Background:
- I use my SPX for both amateur 3gun and sporting clays
- I had my 18.5 barrel threaded and poly-choke installed to give me more range on clays
- The poly works, but I get odd...
