Turned out the thread pitch on my rifle is NOT 11/16-24 as Mossberg claims. The thread pitch is 5/8-24 and I now have a brake installed that works good.

Any of you guys using a muzzle brake on your Patriot 338 Win Mag's?? I just bought one and I can't find a brake for it? It looks like KDF makes a slimline brake but it seems you have to ship your rifle off for fitting?? Any info. will be appreciated.... -Mike
