20ga built on the same receiver as 12ga?

Or does the 20 have a smaller receiver? Will a 12ga stock fit a 20ga gun?

No...it will fit but not right

The 12ga stock on a 500A will fit the 500C but there will be a slight overlap where the stock mounts to the receiver.

I guess the two receivers are different sizes?

The both guns will function fine with either stock.

The 20ga receiver is thinner.
