5+1 only taking 2+1???????

I just bought a 500 with the talon aluminum 6 position stock,and fab rail grip .....its a 5+1 butwhen I went to the range only 2 would fit in the mag ......did I miss something ?any ideas

There is a wooden dowel in the tube to limit it from the factory. Once you remove it you will be able to put 5 in the magazine tube.

If I put the dowel back in .....can I use it for hunting dove.....try at least or will a game warden get all fussy ?

Glad you got it figured out. I would check with your state regulations as far as what you need to have done with your firearm to make it legal for hunting.

Most areas require the 2+1 capacity for bird hunting, but your state may not. Like Dan said, just check your local hunting regs.

2+1 will help you practice reloading... itll keep ya plugging in rounds when on the go...
