500 12ga Foregrip?

View attachment 27142
Since it’s just a test piece, maybe try a heat gun on it after you’ve thinned out all the internal ribbing in that area. It may soften enough to just swage over the receiver. Sometimes I wish I had been more adept at woodworking. My last not quite all metal forend was some junk plywood I hand drilled, swaged on to my old reliable aluminum ladder rung and glued together. Lol still needed some additional contouring before I went on to my next project of that week..lol
Yes heat gun top of my list! I have a mini mill, Hobart welder and other building toys. But T&E gets Ching Ching.

Founds some more pics on the internet. Looking to do like this?

You should be able to find the fore-end you desire either through Havlin, debay or GB. Many people prefer to go to the more svelte corncob style. Would also be a good reason to go to a gun show... :)

i don’t think your understanding what I’m looking for but I appreciate your input!

What I meant was, people swap TO the corncob and take REMOVE the style you are looking for (under the port) then sell on debay so you may be able to find a "take-off" for this reason.
