500/590 A1 parts compatibility?

I have a 500A and low and behold a 590 A1 18 1/2" ramped front sight barrel and mag tube with spring and fallower have fell in my lap! As far as I can tell both barrel and mag tube should drop right in my 500A action, am I correct?


If I am I only have to pick up a ring rear sight, barrel nut or +2 mag extension, and a wood corn cob fore end, and some gun kote or something similar and I'm on my way to a not half bad trench/HD scatter gun!

...and yes Sir. The 590a1 barrel and tube/spring will drop right in to your 500 receiver...

Will do! Think I have a line on a fore end, I know wear to get the sights and the mag tube extension, now it's on to how to strip and refinish the wood to a military finish and find a coating that will hold up to some abuse. No sense having a bad arse scatter gun if you can't use it.
