590A1 Mariner 7-shot

I see Mossberg now selling a 7-shot Mariner.

I have an older 6-shot and was wondering if I could buy the factory tube extension from the newer version and add to my 6-shot, to keep the Marinekote finish, and the longer follower spring if needed?

Also can this be used as a +2 extension using 2.75" shells and the right spring length?

Yeah, it looks like that extension will work just fine with yours if its available separately as an aftermarket part.

No go, Mossberg doesn't sell the tube extension as an available part, silly!
Guess I can go aftermarket and try to match paint it to the marinecote.
