According to Mossberg my serial number is Model #51663 built in 2009. (T458XXX)
My receiver is not stamped, has anyone seen this before?
I asked them,waiting to here back.

P.S.-- Picked up at pawn shop for under $250
 
does it have the heavy barrel and metal trigger guard?

If you,could post a picture or two, it would be much easier to determine what you may have.

Since this is a used gun it's quite probable that it had been back to the factory for service and they replaced the receiver with one that had not been numbered.
 
"590a1" should be stamped on the receiver, though the barrel itself will still say "590." I would reach out to Mossberg with the S/N to confirm that your specific shotgun is an A1.
