I'm curious if anyone knows what the standard action spring weight is on the Mossberg 930?

I have a(nother) 12 gauge that has what I feel is too weak of a spring. I have changed it to another that is about 3 pounds heavier and still seems to work properly, but I'm wondering how heavy I could go and still get full function with both low and hi brass.

In short, I'm trying to track down the heaviest action spring available.

Picking up a set of these:http://www.or3gun.com/OR3GUN/about_or3gun_plunger.htm from OR3Gun is a much better option. You can tweak your spring by adjusting compression with the retainer. If you think the current spring is weak, I would order a new stock-weight, and mount it with the OR3Gun parts, then tune it to suit your needs. You'll easily spend the same money on 3 spriongs as for the CSP, and you'll be stuck with springs you don't want, so...
