AFG ergonomic pointing grip

Has anyone ever used one? I'd be interested in how they would improve anything. I don't want to go through modifying my fore end to install it before I get your guys' opinions.

If you're asking about the magpul afg generation 1 or 2, I use them on some guns.

But have never tried one on a scattergun.

I run the AFG and AFG2 on most of my ARs.

Tried them on my 590 and 590A1 for a while and they worked well as far as the grip goes, but under recoil the hand stop would beat the crap out of my knuckle. Ended up taking them off...
