I recently purchased Mossberg #3. I had a straight 590, 20-in and a 590 Shockwave. I got myself the 18.5" 590A1 and put a Hogue 12" LOP butt-stock on it. I am a happy camper. I truly like Mossberg shotguns.

I have a 20" 500, 20" 590 and the 930 SPX. I love them. The pumps both pattern high to use a bead or the ghost rings so I have red dots on them but the 930 SPX shoots dead on. Get a few posterboards from the dollar store, draw lines to split them into 4 corners with dots in each and see where your range/defensive loads are patterning.
