Hello all! New to the forum here. A few weeks ago I picked up a brand new ATR 100 Whitetail Lightning in .270 Win and after doing a little reading (a lot actually) I had some questions for actual fellow mossberg owners. First, I must mention that i presently have yet to fire the weapon, but I am very pleased with the feel, weight, and quality of the gun for $349. Naturally, one of the things I was looking for information about was the bolt but before that, I was just wondering if anybody out there with the same model I have could offer their input on it. Love/hate it? Also, being a budget gun, I was wondering how many rounds you may have put through yours before a failure occurred if any. The question regarding the bolt is whether or not anyone knows if the bolt body assembly is still splined together with a press fit method.
