Firing pin difference.

The 500c I picked up had some rust on the bolt. I took the bolt out and started following the disassembly instructions and noticed the firing pin had no spring. After doing some more research I discovered that the older models are different. Any idea when they changed over and will the newer bolts work in the older models without changing other internal parts?

Your correct you have the old "rocker type" bolt.
As far as interchanging I believe you can with a complete new bolt.

I cleaned it up and wiped it down with a little oil, not too much. Got it back together and no problems so far.
