FIRST 500A

hi to all, I had always wanted a Mossberg 500A for a long time.
well I found one in my local pawnshop.
I will start by saying that at first I had put money down on a
Mossberg 535at on a layaway. then I found this MO site and
went back to the pawnshop and traded the 535at for the
Mossberg 500A that they had too.
I found-out on the 535at that the 500A's action bars wouldn't
fit on the 535at, in order to changed the barrel on the 535at
for one of a 500 barrel you would have to changed the ammo tube too.
so, short story, I got the 500A on layaway.. better choice..
I had a Mossberg 88, traded that for the Mossberg 500A.
I got 3 wooden forends, wooden stock and a 6 3/4" action tube.
im ready to go when I get my Mossberg 500A out of layaway..

My 500 has always been a work horse for me.
