Welcome aboard. If you haven't done it yet I hope you stop and introduce yourself in the new members welcome area.
Below is a link to a thread where I added ghost ring sites to a 590A1 without the barrel needing refinishing. I'm not sure where you could get the Mariner finish replicated after the sights were silver soldered on. It looks like my pictures disappeared from that thread again. I'll try to edit them back in soon.
