Help on FAB AGMF-500 FK SB butt-stock...(!)

Copper BB
Hello,

I bought a FAB AGMF-500 FK SB for my 590...
Because I am left-handed I want to modify it so it can be folded on the right side!

As you can see below it folds on the left (for left-handed)...

I unscrew the folding mechanism and install it on the other side...

But as you see when it folds the butt-stock is upside down...

I took a picture on this pin below

Should I pull (or push) this pin and flip the butt-stock??

Does anyone have another suggestion?

Or does anyone know the right way?

While I haven't had that particular buttstock apart, I would think you could drive out the retaining pin that you have pointed out, pull the buttstock straight out and turn it around 180 degree's.

Unless it has a raised ridge or something that would prevent it from being pushed back in the folding mechanism any other way.

Ok!

Because I don't want to cause any damage, as I don't have the required tools,
I will go to an expert, to do the job.

I think its nothing for an expert... :!:

I will keep you updated...

If you don't have the tools or correct knowlege, that is the best way to proceed.

If you have a punch/tap set that you use for engines, that will work.
They are usually in different diameters and can be bought at harbor freights pretty cheap. That's what I use for rolled pins.
Just a suggestion! Good luck bro and love the buttstock.

^^^^^what stigmata said,,,,,here's pics of roll pins and drift punches.
