Hi guys, just bought a 930...breacher maybe?

Hi guys! I currently have a Mossberg 500 that I have owned for about 25 years. I just last night, bought a used Mossberg 930...and I'm not sure what model it is. It looks kind of like an SPX, but it doesn't have the sights or top rail. I think it's a Breacher, that someone put a pistol grip and +2 extension on. Can I find anything out about the gun from the serial number? It starts with AF if that helps.

If I had to guess I'd say it started out as a 930 Special Purpose Tactical 5-shot model 85330.

Add a pistol grip and a mag tube extension, and there you have it.

I agree with LES on the 5 shot 930 breacher. Both the stock and extension are from Choate and both are standard on a couple models.

Its a great lookin gun!
