Just bought a new mossberg 590 A1 I had to build this out of spares as Mossberg importer told me that mossberg was not planning on importing any 590 A1 into the UK this year cost me a lot but worth it. As you can see its not the classic look It has had quite a lot of upgrades its not everyones cup tea but i love it....

SHOOTER13, folks usually like the Blackwater emblem or hate it.....I just happen to like the emblem. It appears Mossberg has dropped the Blackwater edition from the 590A1 line-up on their website this year.

I'm surprised Mossberg ran the line for this long considering Blackwater hasn't existed since 2009. I know E. Prince maintained ownership of the logo and name after the buyout, so he likely had a licensing agreement with Mossberg to use the logo that didn't get renewed.

In any case, that's a good lookin shotgun...

Very well. Haven't shot that many slugs with it but there are no problems so far. Vortex warranty is supposed to be iron clad as well.
