Issue with 270 4X4 bolt jammed

I just picked up my 4X4 2 days ago. Shortly after I got home I noticed the bolt was getting hard to close. Now I can get it to open. No idea what's going on. It's like it's jammed shut. Any ideas?
 
Talked to Mossberg this morning and they want me to take and shoot the gun. Claim it may be an issue with the snap caps. Guy didn't even know what snap caps were. I'm going to take it to the range tomorrow in hopes he may be right but I'm highly doubtful. He did say the misfeeding is due to a spring issue and he would send me one out after I fired it if I need it.

Most frustrating part is I bought this gun for a hunt in less than a month and now I'm highly suspect of it.
