Mossberg 500 Road Blocker

I just picked up the above shotgun (wicked!). In the box was a "bi-pod" looking object. It's hinged at the top and spring loaded. What is this thing? Looks like a BIG nut-cracker or circumcision tool! :shock:

From your description, I do not think it's a Mossberg Chainsaw grip.
