Mossberg 800A Info ?

I have a Mossberg 800A .308. It is a beautiful gun has deer inside the checker pattern on the stock. It is in very good condition. It has the number 5527 on the side of it. It also has a peep site. That looks to be factory but I am not sure about it. Can anyone give me any info on this gun when it was made the value of it and such.
