mossberg Flex Adapter

ok folks I am new to this site and might ask a dumb question today !!!
I bought a Mossberg fex stock and forend for my Mossberg 500A ..... Well the item arrived today .... opened the package and noticed it doesn't fit ...... is there adapter I could buy to put on the 500A so the flex system would work on my rifle .... Same question about a adapter for the forend ...... Thank You Greg

Hello Greg. Welcome to the forum from NY.

The flex forend you got is like a cover that interchanges with other flex covers. In order to use it on your 500A you would need to order the complete flex action tube from Mossberg.
