Several years ago, I wanted to start using my 590A1 18" barrel with ghost ring sights for turkey hunting. I could not figure out how to use a 835 barrel because of the ghost ring front sight, so I decided to have my local gunsmith thread the barrel for chokes. I keep a cylinder choke in normally and have a turkey choke when needed.
My only problem with this set up is I need to get better at my turkey calls.
