Just picked up a Mossberg 500 CT 20 gauge from Gander. Did a serial number search and figured out it's a 1976. Got a smooth bore slug barrel and a smooth ribbed field barrel. I'll probably swap out the slug for a rifled barrel at some point, but for now it's mostly going to be a clay and range day gun for my wife. She's not a big fan of my 500 12 gauge. How many guns are enough? Just one more...
This one has some engraving on the sides, a few dogs and birds on the left, and a turkey or similar bird on the right. Pretty awesome shape for it's age. I was really surprised it was that old.
