New Mossberg 810 BY Owner

Hey All,

US Marine here who's finally settled in KY. Borrowed a rifle for my first rifle season here and loved it, so decided to get myself a good rifle for Christmas. I love a wood and steel weapon, so after some extensive searching in the Louisville area, scored myself a sharp 810 in 7mm mag for $400.

Know it's a 70's era rifle with generally good reputation, but would love to know more about It. Thanks Guys.

Further, welcome to the commonwealth. Taxes are a little high here, but it's generally peaceful in my corner of the state. Which is a stark contrast to the Louisville metro area. Not meaning to sound demeaning, but I try to avoid it when at all possible.
