They did not live in Queens, but my upstate Irish grandparents were not far off from the Bunkers, in any respect, except that their house was even smaller.
It was, perhaps, a little bit nicer. They went out of their way to make the Bunker home look grungy.
Grandpa was a production line supervisor at General Electric in Schenectady.
