Now that is the blade I would prefer. Or rather a set of such: katana, wakizashi, and tanto.
These replicas I have had for many years and practiced only with them and with boken.
Authentic Japanese blades would be much preferred.

No clue on the rig, I bought it from an old guy locally, only cost $60
The pistol is a Hawes imported J.P. Sauer and Sohn, Western Marshal .44mag.

I just looked again, I can only see a couple stamps, it's from Mexico, with three sets of numbers.
