One-Way Safety Removal Video

Hi all! I have a ProMag replacement safety on order for my Shockwave and I wanted to get the one-way screw out and replace it with something more convenient.

This is my first YouTube video, so there’s probably some room for improvement!

Final thought: I didn't much like the feel of the button head under my thumb, so I used a low-profile screw that sits flush into the safety. Trouble was, Fastenall wouldn't sell me just one ($.05 each), so I had to buy a box of 100.

I've been dropping them into the mail to any forum member that wants one, since they can be hard to find locally. You're welcome to have one if you want to try it. I have 90 extras!

Is that a 6-32 flat head? The one (100 ;-)) I have didn’t fit flush like that which is why I went with the button head instead.

Yep, it's a 6/32 x 3/8. Fastenal calls it a "low socket cap screw"
