Parts?

Will the parts from a the 590-590A1 series of shotguns fit in the 500 series of shotguns. I got my eye on a metal trigger assembly for the 590A1 but I have a 500 SP, will the metal trigger assembly fit in my 500 even if it's for a 590A1 or a 590. Thanks. I am also wanting to replace my safety switch with a metal one instead of the plastic one that is on there now, any suggestions on what kind is the best in the metal style of safety switch.

It's been awhile since I tried changing parts. This says the metal trigger of the 590A1 fit the 500 but not vice-versa. I no longer have the 590A1 to try again. I do have the 835 with a metal trigger but no way that's going to fit.
