Howdy,
This is a monthly series of questions topic for everyone to join in on the discussion. Some of the later questions may have a poll, and some will not. Don't be shy now, go ahead and post an answer and vote in the polls.

What is the worst/dumbest quote you ever heard from and anti-gunner?

Feinstein wins all the time....

"If you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won't be any more available."

There are way to many answers to this month's question.

"The Second Amendment comes from the right to protect themselves from slave revolts, and from uprisings by Native Americans. A revolt from people who were stolen from their land or revolt from people whose land was stolen from, that's what the genesis of the Second Amendment is."
- Danny Glover (Yes, the "Lethal Weapon" Danny Glover)

”Some of these bullets, as you saw, have an incendiary device on the tip of it, which is a heat seeking device. So, you don’t shoot deer with a bullet that size. If you do you could cook it at the same time.”
- Former Democrat New York Assemblywoman Patricia Eddington

“This is a ghost gun. This right here has the ability with a .30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second. Thirty magazine clip in half a second.”
- California Democrat State Senator Kevin de Leon

“Well, if it can fire a lot of bullets very quickly, that’s a good definition… And then you can argue what a lot is, okay, let’s say three. If you haven’t hit the deer with three shots, you’re a pretty lousy shot, that deer deserves to get away.” – Michael Bloomberg

My favorite.... the second amendment was for a state militia as the founders never intended to have a standing army. Therefore, since we have a standing army the second amendment isn't necessary anymore.

WRONG!

Lets see the timeline shall we:

Continental Army - 1775-1783 (omg standing army)
Legion of the United States - 1792-1796 (omg standing army)
US Army 1796 - present (omg standing army)

So for approximately 9 years in the Nation's history we had no standing army. That's it... and to be presumptuous about what the majority of the founding father's felt that no standing army was required? Well:

The Second Amendment was ratified on 12/15/1791.... Legion of the US was formed shortly after the ratification (like months later) which was approved by Congress which contained the original founding fathers.

The largest opponent of standing armies (James Madison) was in office in 1809-1817 and did nothing to disband the army nor would he have support of his peers to do so.

Not to mention Article 2 Section 2 of the Constitution gives the President CIC of any army, navy OR militia.

So in summation... that line is complete shit, the second amendment is for the people to create militias not to be part of one in order to exercise said amendment.

I am going to go with any politician that starts a speech with "I believe in the 2nd amendment BUT....."

Come on folks...there are a lot more really bad ones out there just waiting to be posted.
