It is a good idea to know the background of some of the people that have been discussed in this thread where they have made stupid comments.

In all fairness, and sadness, Carolyn McCarthy ran on gun violence issues. Unfortunately, she lost her husband and a son was injured on the subway from a deranged lunatic named Colin Ferguson

Yet, she blamed the gun rather than the person who committed the heinous act.

In stark similarity, there was a shooting involving Dianne Feinstein as well. Supposedly, the New World Liberation Front, that placed a bomb on her window sill that didn't go off and had the windows shot out of a beach house she owned.

And again, she has targeted guns rather than the people committing these acts.

It's so typical these days. The left never wants to hold the individual accountable. Always provide an excuse for the perp.

Unfortunately there are so many folks these days that readily accept that kind of thinking. It lets them off the hook for their actions. No accountability leads to no responsibility.
