I have a Mossberg 151m-b and was wondering if anyone knew what scopes new and old that would work on it prefer olderer but newer prices better

For a .22 nearly anything will work as long as you can see thru it. You're talking range under 100yds usually. I have a Tasco on my .22mag winchester that works just fine.

Welcome to the forum from NY. I would give Havlin a call. They are the pros when it comes to old Mossy's. I'm sure they will be able to help you out with an "older model" scope and mounts.

Simmons has a line of nice scopes dedicated to 22 rifles. They have 4x fixed and 3-9 adjustable and while MSRP hovers around $100 they can always be tracked down at much lower prices. A quick look and I found this ( must be a close out) 3-9 model on Amazon for $30!

I have one mounted on my 702 and use it effectively to 100 yds. They offer good quality and features for across the spectrum. I have a 1.5-5 model on an AR that I use in competition. They are great bang for the buck if you are buying new. There IS (of course) better glass on the market but...
