Shell capacity

Did yours have the dowel installed? Remove the barrel and have a look just to make sure

I just purchased the 20 gage yesterday. I can only get 2 shells in the tube and and 1 in the chamber.I thought the 88 had a 5 shell capacity. How do I adjust the gun to increase it's capacity?

Welcome to the forum from NY.
They ship the gun with a wooden dowel in the mag tube. Look on page 4 of your manual.
You need to take off barrel turn gun upside down and shake out dowel.
