Sighted in the new 500 with scope

I took my new 500 with the scoped barrel to the range today to sight in the scope. I had to stop at the local gun dealer for some sabot rounds. I have never had a twelve gauge with a rifled barrel, so I did not have any on hand. While at the store, they had a used smoothbore 24 inch slugmaster barrel with Williams Rifle sights on it. That came along with me too.

I got it dialed in after about seven or eight rounds. I fired fifteen total to make sure. I saved ten rounds to hunt with. Wow, those sabots are expensive. I used Hornaday 300 gr SST's.

I took some photos of the 500 and the used smoothbore barrel.
