What about the 18.5 inch barrel that came on my 590a1 can u put slugs threw it? It's just the 835 barrel is I cut it down that I can't put slugs threw?

Yes Sir, your original 590A1 barrel will handle rifled slugs just fine. Just no sabot slugs, you'd need a rifled barrel for those.

Slugs are not recommended for use in the 835 barrels. They are over-bored to 10 gauge diameter, making slugs potentially unsafe to shoot...
