Stock options for 590a1

Im looking for a shorter fixed stock for my a1. I tried the hogue short lop and it was too short. Im thinking right around 12 1/2 to 13 inches is what I need. I have a magpul sga on my other a1 and I like it very much at the shortest lop but I was looking for something more traditional looking in order to avoid the tacticool look. Any ideas of any regular shorter lop stocks for the a1? I know mossberg makes a bantam stock at 13 inch lop that originally comes on their thunder ranch model. Has anyone had any experience with this stock? They sell it for 65 dollars plus shipping and im trying to decide if this is a good deal or not. Thanks

I have the hogue 12" lop stock.

You can add a limb saver slip on recoil pad to add an inch. That's what I did.

Seems to work well for me.

I don't have experience with the other stock you're referencing. Maybe someone here does.

Water Monker, did you add a slip on limbsaver or replace the hogue but pad with a scre on limbsaver?

Cut off your factory stock to the length you want and add the Limbsaver. East to do on a chop saw.

This is what I did, save yourself the $60. Do a little research and find out which Limbsaver recoil pad fits, you'll be glad you did.

It's easier than you think, worst case scenario you buy the Hogue anyway. Best case you save $60.
