I can live with the receiver for now, it was sanded before covered the first time so if I want I can always throw some make-up on her.

Yeah, he is. He got me to detail clean my 500A after 30 years. Guy has mysterious powers....................just sayin'

Rattle can is my favorite way to bring an old 500 back to life. I have 2 that I rattle can camouflaged for hunting. One was an old beat to crap looking 12ga that is now my go to hunting gun. The other was a used in pretty good shape 20ga.
I love breathing new life into an old 500. You just can't kill these guns.
