Republican's caved. They should have waited him out since he and his AG were severely chastised by their constituents for this action. There should have been zero concessions because they control the state legislature. If it was the other way around the Democrats would have nailed them to the wall.

Yeah, it's a shame. Apparently the republicans had a veto proof majority together and could have forced the change without giving up anything. The governor who was the darling of the anti gunners has been getting pounded from them now as a sellout.

Debatable. At least in your zone the federal court ruled denying full CCW based on "need" was unconstitutional. Here in the NE we can't even get that to the courts!
