Walnut Patriot in 7mm-08

Looking at the Patiot in 7mm-08 in the Walnut stock. Have a NEF in 7mm-08 and really like the caliber. I was looking at the Ruger American and Savage Axis. Seen the wood Patriot and my mind was set. After 40 years of deer hunting with a wood stocked rifle I am pretty set in my ways. Plus it is a very nice looking gun. Now to pull the trigger and order one.

I understand about the wood stock. Mossberg did a great job on the Patriot. I have several other rifles that I'll be replacing synthetic stocks with wood.

I hear ya, that wood stock is what swayed me from the Ruger American. Hope you get as good a shooter as I did.
