nice man, cool rigs. I grew up on bikes but have fallen down too much over the years so had to go old man with the quads......GNCC ?, I used to do national hair and hound in the desert. My last one was in 2001....the two 40 mile loops tore me up for the last time, got quads now but couldnt leave well enough alone and its now faster than my bikes were, oh well

Yea I grew up racing motocross with dirtbikes but then started racing quads (I had a very trick raptor 660r when they first came out and then a yfz450r). I took a few years off and picked up a CRF450r and got into harescrambles while I was in Texas. My brother has a suzuki ltr450 that I ride when I can. For me there is nothing like ripping a dirtbike but quads are certainly a close second. That looks like some awesome riding where you get to go though. I have not had the opportunity to hit the dunes yet.

The Oregon dues are just breathtaking but my hart is in woods riding....yes nothing like sending some dirt to roost hell, you know when the traction is perfect and you are on the wake with every ounce of power going to the ground.....hard to beat.

I got the 700r, my first four stroke. Put in high comp piston , cam ,port polish, FI controller , intake, exhaust...almost as fun as the bikes

Awesome pics fellas! Nice lookin rides too!

This use to be both work and for fun!

Those are some awesome pictures Sumo! What is that structure?
That funky one was started out to be a home by a rich/eccentric man as the story goes. Never made it, lost his mind, and it has since burned down--probably due to a lightning strike. As the story goes the guy was a retired engineer for NASA. Of course, who knows much about it.

The other building was something for the military. The area that is on was a decommissioned National Guard area before WWII started.

The cellear is on an old home-site that I came across on some state land. There are more old homesteads that I hope to check out as soon as I get the boot off my foot.
