i couldn't wait. so i went out and bought the (TG151X (.670) 12GA) strut stopper. the choke that came with the gun, at 20 yards , left a pattern 40" wide. i think thats kinda useless. unless i'm hunting partridge or pheasant. i'm goin out to see how the tru glo works this weekend. i'd do it today but my friend/farmer is spreading p00p over his fields this week..PEEEYOUUUUU

You won't be disappointed with the TruGlo Strut Stopper Choke. I got to use it this weekend and it did a great job patterning the various turkey loads I threw at it. I have the TG152X (.643) version though.

how far away were you, and how big of a pattern did it leave?
i'll be using the 3" 1 7/8oz 6 shot loads from federal.

I was shooting at 40 yards and it was a fairly tight pattern at that distance. I did not have large enough paper to be able to give a % though.

On a different note, my daughter is really digging the front and rear 3 dot set with the drift adjustable rear. Maybe I'll get my Meprolight tritium dot back! lol!

just got in....tried out the strut stopper...it had a nice 7" ball with a bunch of strays about 24"-30" around it. i liked it. my target was a pallet...i was only 20yards away as well. works for me!

That aint so bad at all!

but its from mossberg. i'll keep it for when i want to go pheasant hunting with my neighbor.

Just put the TruGlo "fatbead" on my clays barrel (835 barrel running on my 590a1). Quite easy. Big red dot in place of a big white bead. A little more contrast to the white clay pigeons I normally shoot at!
