The Hogue Short LOP;

It looks good! Packaged nicely, doesnt contain a stock bolt, so I'm about to find out if one is needed or not. I'll review the instructions here after a bit. I do like that the washer supplied is taped down to the inside of the package so it doesnt fall out as soon as its opened!

The Hogue Standard LOP Stock Set, Ghillie Tan;

Just got the stock set with the forend in ghillie tan. Looks good and feels good! Its a little hard to see here, but I want to focus on the packaging also. It arrived via UPS and was boxed well, the package is easy to open. Good thing the supplied washer is taped down otherwise it would come out easily!

I'll have this installed soon enough and more pictures and details forthcoming.

The Hogue Tamer Pistol Grip;

This made it in today! Not the best picture, but I want to detail the packaging. It opens easily, a little too easily. There is a supplied allen head bolt annd washer which were not visible as I was opening everything. As soon as it was opened and the pistol grip was moved, the bolt and washer fell from the packaging. I have yet to locate the washer. I may be making a trip to the hardware store. Other wise my initial impressions are good over all. I'll have get pictures of the Hogue and factory pistol grips side x side. An amazing difference and feel. The palm swells and grip are awesome, it fits great and the Tamer insert can be felt in the web of your hand.

I'm actually looking forward to putting a few rounds through my Persuader with it!

I'll add more as I go!

The ghillie tan is installed on my Persuader! I'll have more pics coming along with first impressions, fit and finish! I have it on my Persuader largely due to the Hogue OM forend being a nice tight fit on the 500 mag tube, and an "impossible to fit without modification" fit on the 590A1 magazine/heavy barrel combination.

You'll notice there are lighter and darker tans as well as black mixed in the color.

You can see just a bit of plastic flash where the stock meets the grip.

The pebbled OM texture feels great!

Sling swivel studs are included with the stocks.

The Tamer Grip and Forend set.

You absolutely love this pebbled OM finish from the moment you first feel it!

The palm swells are ambidextrous and feel amazing and the fit in the hand leaves nothing to be desired!

I dont know how well you can see it, but the grip butts right up to the trigger gaurd and forms something of a finger shelf, the overall feel seems very comfortable and more ergonomic than any other grip I have handled to date.

I'm going to go ahead and get a few pics up, though there will be more to come as I begin to relate my first impressions, installation and fit and finish. I have this installed on my 590A1. So far I like it, I can already feel the difference it makes to bring the guns weight in closer.

Again the sling swivel stud is already installed. Also, the recoil pads on both the short LOP and standard LOP are cushy soft and nearly luxurious! Looking forward to firing with these!

I'm really diggin the pebbled OM texture and shape of the Hogue stocks. Good fit and feel in the hand.

Looks like some plastic flash, but I wasnt able to feel anything when handling the stock.
