Hi
First,a quick introduction. My name's Bob and I admit that I'm not an expert with the rifle.I thought we might work together as things come up.
I wanted to post a link to a pdf version of the Owner's Manual for anyone who may have lost theirs,or those like myself who find it easier to read on the monitor. The zoom function is a big help to those of us with older eyes.
Once the file opens you can save a copy to your computer by clicking on the "floppy" icon in the toolbar, and saving it to a convenient place on your machine.

The link below has a list and download link to all of Mossberg's available on-line manuals.

Nice! I agree, I'd rather read on the monitor too.

I dont have a rifle yet, but its on my list! ;)

I like the monitor,it let's me manipulate the images.Zoom, rotate etc.
I don't know about now but when I was in Oh. rifles were illegal for about anything. We used to go down to Ohio Power property near Marietta because it was the only legal area that was safe.Rifles were legal there for groundhogs but I just never had a burning desire to take one.

Yup, still illegal for just about everything. You can hunt coyote though, and maybe other critters too with rifles.

I have heard good things about the ATR and would like to add to my collection an ATR with the marine coat, fluted and ported barrel, synthetic stock, in 30.06.

That particular combo right now has a suggested retail of $471 arranged through Mossberg.
Wal-Mart will special order what you want, with 1/2 down, and I'd guess your total would come in right around $300.
